Silent Meditation Retreat
Step Away from the Noise. Emerge Into Stillness. Meditation cannot be forced. It unfolds naturally when the right conditions are cultivated. Regular meditation practice may support relaxation, stress reduction, emotional regulation, concentration, self-awareness and overall mental wellbeing. In a small group and surrounded by nature, you are invited to slow down, reconnect with yourself and discover the stillness within.

What's included

  • Hṛidaya Meditation — Daily guided meditation practice centred in the Spiritual Heart
  • Daily Integral Asana— Gentle practice to support awareness, relaxation and inner harmony
  • Concentration and Meditation — Learn and experience foundational concentration and meditation techniques
  • Integral Flow — Explore the relationship between posture, breath, concentration and meditation as one continuous practice
  • Nature Immersion — Silent walks, yoga on the beach and forest meditation
  • Reflection & Inspiration — Evening reflection and inspirational lectures on meditation and conscious living
  • Our retreats are held in the spirit of the Gurukula tradition — living and practising together with the teacher. Accommodation is offered by Sundari School in twin-bed rooms with private bathrooms
  • Nourishing Food — Healthy ovo-lacto-vegetarian meals prepared with fresh ingredients

At Sundari, meditation is approached not simply as a technique, but as a gradual process of inner development and integration. Through progressive practices of concentration, breath awareness, Integral Yoga and Hṛidaya Meditation, we guide you towards a quiet and steady mind, allowing deeper awareness and the stillness of self-discovery to emerge naturally in the very Essence of your being, the Atman, the Spiritual Heart.

An Integral Journey in which each experience prepares and supports the next

Asana creates awareness of the body; breath refines our perception of energy; concentration steadies the mind; and meditation allows awareness to turn inward. Through this natural progression, practice becomes an Integral Flow — a continuous process in which body, breath, mind and consciousness gradually come together, in the stillness of the Heart.
